Pediatrics Unit at Lourdes Medical Center

Pediatrics Unit

A visit to the hospital can be a very frightening experience for children. Lourdes recognizes the sensitivity of this situation and responds with compassion and caring. The Pediatrics unit sees 125-130 admissions per month with about 25 percent of these admissions coming from our Emergency Department. The diagnosis of those patients admitted is quite varied, ranging from diabetes, congestive heart failure, pneumonia, and stroke. Both the ICU and Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics units offer private patient rooms.
