Total healing is threefold – body, mind and spirit
At Lourdes Health Network, we are committed to providing and promoting total wellness and healing to people in our care. Added to our committed and competent interdisciplinary staff, are the Chaplains who address the spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones.

As spiritual care is all-encompassing, so is a chaplain’s role and function. Chaplains offer you:
1. Comforting and supportive presence
2. Compassionate and attentive listening
3. Affirmation of your person and life as a sacred gift
4. Prayer and encouragement
5. Companioning and guidance in the face of spiritual and emotional pain, or suffering, or death and dying situations
6. With your consent, to call your own priest, pastor or spiritual caregiver

When you are in the hospital and would like to speak to a chaplain, dial 0 and ask operator to page a chaplain or ask any of the staff to contact one for you.

THE CHAPEL
The chapel is located on the lobby level of Lourdes Medical Center. Holy Mass is offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 11:30 am.

Inside the chapel is a Book of Intentions for people in need of prayers. The hospital respects patient confidentiality, so please ask permission before you write the patient’s name.

There is also a chapel at Lourdes Counseling Center. The chapel there is open for meditation and prayer to all during normal business hours.
